There are three sets you can obtain from Crypt Shop at each tenth level from level 20 to level 70. The weapon and armor set is called PvE set, to be opposed to the Arena set called PvP set. What you absolutely need are Jewels and Rings set for level 40 players. For these you need a total of 800 Crypt Tokens.
After that, get the maximum Crypt Tokens your patience allows before level 50. You should not buy anything other from Crypt shop before level 50. Of course, other strategies are possible, but not recommended.
Don't take the level 20 Jewels and Rings sets. Don't try to get the level 20 PvE set unless you want to camp a lot before level 35 (this is an uncommon strategy) because PvP set for level 35 is really better. If you do, get the Broken Weapon and the Broken Helmet from Nether Forest multiplayer dungeon. The Broken Armor and Broken Necklace can be obtained in Claristun but this will give too much experience. The best is to buy them with 15 Crypt Tokens each, then compensate by getting to tenth level 10 times (see below).
Don't take the level 30 Jewels and Rings sets unless you want to be camping a lot before level 40 (even if you camp a lot before level 40, this is unrecommended). Don't take the level 30 PvE set unless you want to be camping a lot before level 40 and you don't want the level 35 PvP set (this is an uncommon and unrecommended strategy). If you do so, don't take the level 20 PvE set to save Crypt Tokens because you will need a lot of them.
Getting the level 40 PvE set is another uncommon strategy. If you want yo do so you will need 480 Crypt Tokens and 320 Lvl 3 Crystaloids. It will be useful mainly if you upgrade them to Legendary using Blacksmith which is is a costly thing to do.
Upgrading level 40 Jewels and Rings from Crypt is also possible, but it is also costly not counting the 1600 Crypt Tokens you will need!
To get Crypt Tokens, you need to go through Catacombs. A each level multiple of 5, you get a treasure chest with Crypt Tokens and either a Gem or a Crystaloid. The most efficient is to go either to fifth level for first treasure only, or to any level multiple of 10. The lower you go, the less experience you gain for each Crypt Token you earn. But you can't start from beginning more than once each day, so the lower you go, the less Crypt Tokens you will get each day.
At level lower than 40, as long as you try to avoid level up, try to focus on sticking to tenth level, or even fifth if you are close to level up. If you want to level up do it slowly anyway, and try to estimate how to be sure to get those 800 Crypt Tokens before level 40.

You need around five months and half of mad fishing for that (cacthing as much as possible fishes who give the highest experience) but at level 15 of Fishing mini game you can get Crypt Tokens. This makes usable the unrecommended strategies I have given sooner.
You do not need to use a Crypt Key to enter Catacombs, you only use them to double both experience and items (including Crypt Tokens) tou earn. Do not use Crypt Keys for Catacombs as long as you are not going very deep, this would be a waste. They have to be saved for latter, when you will be level 50 or more and will go to last level each day. And you need some Crypt Keys each time you want to enter the Tormented Necropolis.
